Hampshire 40+ Walking Group is a Ramblers group within the Hampshire area with members from all over the county. We love the great outdoors, walking, socialising but above all having fun! Click here to visit our Facebook site and see what we’ve been doing recently
PLEASE NOTE: Our name may be “40+” but we do welcome walkers of all ages in that vicinity. The Hampshire 40+ group was founded in July 2010 from the original Hampshire 20s & 30s group (est. 2002) and the groups still maintain close links.
Please come and introduce yourself on one of the walks or if you have questions please email email@example.com
PLEASE REMEMBER: as a group we rely on volunteers. Nothing can happen, whether it’s a walk or trip away, Christmas party or other social activity, without someone volunteering to organise it.
ANY COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS? See a Committee member on one of the walks- at least one of us will be around. Click here to see who is on the Committee.
Alternatively, click here to send an email to the Committee. If the link doesn’t work, open your email box and send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Do you have in mind a walk that you would like to lead? Email our Walk Co-ordinator (email@example.com) who will supply you with a template to get the walk published on our website
Just led a walk? Please let the Membership Secretary (firstname.lastname@example.org) know who came
There are a lot of activities throughout the year, aside from the regular weekend (and occasional midweek) walks both in and around the county there are several social meet-ups and exciting trips away to all corners of Britain and beyond. Our Walks & Events page lists all the imminent events. A wide variety of abilities is catered for, from leisurely strolls for beginners to more energetic longer walks over The South Downs, for example.
A list of our walks open to all members of Ramblers Groups is also available on the Ramblers website: Hampshire 40+ walks
Please come along to any walk and try us out for free – you will need to join The Ramblers to become a full member if you enjoy your first couple of walks and would like to continue.
